MINNETONKA, MN – Central Portfolio Control is a professional collection agency located near the Twin Cities of Minnesota and a member of the Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association. This summer, as one of its team building events, the crew is looking forward to participating in The Color Run: Twin Cities on the morning of Saturday, July 9 at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds. The team is inviting employees and their families to join in the fun and make colorful memories at this active outdoor event.
Family Fun
“We’ll be there with our daughter so she’s my excuse to walk! Running or even finishing is not mandatory. We’re already getting registered as a team and looking forward to a unique opportunity to spend some time outside of work to have fun together and with our families. It will be a great time and a beautiful morning no matter the weather. We hope to see everyone there!” said Alicia Lesher, President at Central Portfolio Control.
CPC is a family-oriented organization founded in 1998. The team continually strives to promote a culture of professionalism along with camaraderie and community through special events inside and outside the walls of the building such as “FUNdraising” employee contests, seasonal donations, food truck meals, and more.
The Color Run
According to its website, “The Color Run”, also known as the Happiest 5K on the Planet, is a unique event that celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. Now the largest running series in the world, The Color Run has been experienced by over 8 million runners worldwide in 50+ countries. The run is a five-kilometer, untimed event. At each kilometer mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder.
Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.”
