Over the past 25 years, CPC has not only weathered economic cycles but has emerged stronger, a testament to its steadfast team that has been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of receivables management. Founded in 1998, our team has continued to grow the company by providing top-quality services to our clients and creating job opportunities in the local community. As Central Portfolio Control continues into its 26th year of operation, the focus will forever remain on the future. 

Continued Leadership

One of the remarkable aspects of CPC’s success is the consistency in its leadership team since day one. The founding members, who laid the groundwork for the company, continue to guide it with the same passion and commitment that fueled its inception.

However, CPC has not weathered all of its tragedies. Early on, the team lost its President, Rob Barrett. Mr. Barrett was a larger-than-life figure that transcended typical collections and leadership. All of us at CPC, whether they were there for his tenure or not, have felt his presence in our Minnetonka, MN office.

He helped build a culture, legacy, and organization that continues to innovate and expand what it means to be a consumer-centric collections organization.
