CPC Certifications Deliver Value to Customers
At Central Portfolio Control, we want our customers to feel safe and more secure knowing they’re in certified hands with the proper controls in place. We are confident in our team’s ability to meet industry benchmarks and deliver consistent quality. In addition to maintaining compliance with collections laws like the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and all other relevant rules and regulations, we are proud to maintain the following certifications.
PCI Certification
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) defines a framework for protecting cardholder data that may interface with systems, networks, and storage. Our PCI certification was achieved through a comprehensive process and intensive audit performed by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). CPC’s PCI certification demonstrates our commitment to compliance standards, properly configured systems, a secure network, and cyber security.
HIPAA Compliance Certification
CPC protects consumer medical information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) which was established to secure patients’ Protected Health Information. We take this responsibility very seriously and tailor our security monitoring to meet the needs of our customers and protect consumers’ personal information.
AAHAM Certification
The American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) certification requires a hands-on working knowledge of patient account management, national governmental regulations, and policies that govern revenue cycle registration, billing, and collection procedures. The AAHAM Professional Certification demonstrates our team’s proficiency in healthcare revenue cycle management.
HFMA Certification Programs
The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) provides the practical tools and solutions, education, industry analyses, and strategic guidance needed to address the many challenges that exist within the US healthcare system. Central Portfolio Control values the HFMA Certification programs that enable us to demonstrate our expertise and competency to positively impact the revenue cycle and enhance our client’s patient experience.
SAS 70
CPC successfully completed the Statement of Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 Audit. The SAS 70 certificate, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), permits auditors to review and evaluate the controls activities and processes and procedures to minimize the risk of error and fraud while offering clients security and confidence. Our work ethic, operational excellence, and best-in-class technology deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction while effectively resolving accounts.
SOC2 Certification
We are currently in the process of our System and Organizational Control 2 (SOC2) Certification. The SOC 2 audit is a cybersecurity audit, used by a rapidly growing number of organizations to demonstrate the implementation of cybersecurity and privacy best practices. We are committed to earning certifications, like these, that are extremely credible and assure our clients that we are adhering to credible processes to protect their data and information.
